So, I finally decided to do one of the Top Ten Tuesday prompts! It’s an amazing feature, hosted every week by The Broke & The Bookish. I’m really very excited about it! Let’s see how this goes!
This week, the prompt is things we’re thankful for. Not necessarily books, but just things we’re thankful for! So, here we go!
THINGS I’M THANKFUL FOR
1 Bookish Merchandise
I’m so very grateful for all the bookish merchandise available all around the world! From bookmarks to totes to tees and even wallpapers and screensavers and whatnot! I’m thankful for all of it!
I’m also pretty thankful for blogging. It gives me a place to talk about all the books I read & love and read & hate and everything in between. It has been such a gift.
I’m pretty thankful for all the book bloggers out there because this community is so amazing. They’re all such great people and I love all of them! ❤
I’m extremely, extremely grateful for Wattpad! I can’t even describe how much I love that place! So many amazing people with so many amazing stories! ❤
Twitter is the best platform to connect with fellow readers and authors. So, yeah, pretty grateful for that!
BOOKS I’M THANKFUL FOR
1 Harry Potter
It goes without even saying that I’m really, really thankful for the Harry Potter books! These books have helped me through a lot of stuff and it’s such a great story and the characters are amazing and GOD I JUST LOVE IT SO MUCH!
2 Penny Reid Books
I’m so very grateful for all the books by Penny Reid! Gosh, she is such an amazing writer and all her books have tasteful stories with amazing female leads. I wouldn’t even be reading romance if it wasn’t for her, so yes! I love her!
3 The Fault In Our Stars
This book totally broke all my feels and then some. I don’t remember any other book that I cried over so much, except maybe Order of the Phoenix. Gah, such a beautiful piece of literature! ❤
4 The Universe of Us
Lang Leav is such a gifted poet. I’ve only read this one book by her and it has been such a profound experience! I cannot wait to read more of her books!
5 Percy Jackson
I’m really clueless when it comes to mythology other than my own heritage. But, I absolutely love finding more about other cultures. PJO opened the doors for Greek Mythology and I’m so very thankful for that!
So, that’s my list! What are you thankful for? I’d love to know! Please leave a comment! 🙂
