tenor

We got a new JoBros album after an entire decade and I am so excited! Yayayay!! I have spent the morning listening to the album on repeat and OMFG these boys just got so much better with time! Let’s just the wait of an entire freaking decade was totally worth it because the new music is so freaking amazing and I LOVE ALL OF IT!

So, in honour of the reunion we all were waiting for, I thought, what better way to celebrate than to combine my love for Jonas with my love for books? And so, the Happiness Begins : The Book Tag was born. I’ve got 10 prompts, all from JoBro songs, and I am super excited to share them with you!

This is my first time making a book tag, so please be gentle. I just hope you guys have as much fun with it as I did! 😀

36192190Rule #1 – Never fall for a summer boy.

Fresh out of high school, Babe Vogel should be thrilled to have the whole summer at her fingertips. She loves living in her lighthouse home in the sleepy Maine beach town of Oar’s Rest and being a barista at the Busy Bean, but she’s totally freaking out about how her life will change when her two best friends go to college in the fall. And when a reckless kiss causes all three of them to break up, she may lose them a lot sooner. On top of that, her ex-girlfriend is back in town, bringing with her a slew of memories, both good and bad.

And then there’s Levi Keller, the cute artist who’s spending all his free time at the coffee shop where she works. Levi’s from out of town, and even though Babe knows better than to fall for a tourist who will leave when summer ends, she can’t stop herself from wanting to know him. Can Babe keep her distance, or will she break the one rule she’s always had – to never fall for a summer boy?

Most Anticipated Releases of 2019

most anticipated releases of 2019

If you’re still here, after all this time, reading my blog, kudos to you! I know that I have been the absolute worst when it comes to bookish things this past year, be it reading or blogging or bookstagramming (I DID NOT CLICK EVEN ONE PICTURE!!!!!). So, one of my resolutions for this year has been to be more active on these forums, but most importantly, to grow my blog from just a measly review blog and include more stuff. Which is why, I’m going to try to participate in more book memes, post more bookish lists, try to interview authors and so on. But also, I want to diversify my little corner on the internet to talk more about other things I like – movies, music, tv shows, and the like. So, lets hope that I am able to do it too!

In keeping with this resolution, I am finally, finally, finally getting around my first list for the year – my most anticipated releases. It gives my heart so much joy that so very many of these are diverse books, because yes, #WeNeedDiverseBooks is the absolute truth and I AM SO HAPPY THAT SO MANY OF THEM ARE RELEASING THIS YEAR!

Now, without further ado, let’s get to it!!

(Please note : This list is in no particular order and is just me rambling about books I am excited about!)
